progressive snapshot
Progressive says that the device is looking for things like gentle braking and driving fewer miles than the average driver in your state. The device also looks at how much you drive during peak hours of midnight to 4am. Progressive says the device captures no speed data or GPS information ( bs lol )

I have it in my Tahoe. It does connect to your ODBII plug and monitors when you drive, and how many "hard stops" you have. A hard stop is anything more then 7 mph in a second. It doesn't have a gps or know where you are, just what time and what your speedo is doing. I don't usually speed more then 5-7 over so I can't tell you that speeding effects the out come. If it does it would only matter if you went over the fastest speed limit in your state because it has no idea if you are on a race track or in the local city part. An scca event would have a much more negative effect on your policy then a trip to the strip due to all the braking.
I save $54 a month because of the thing. It is kinda cool because it breaks down your entire driving for the day. It is interesting to see exactly how your time is spent behind the wheel.
