Dude i took mine out today and was chasing a few ducks and ended up running it into a freakin dock. Flipped over and got water all inside. Damn ESC started smoking.. Looks like its time for some better electronics

Im looking to go with a diferent setup. My stock impeller isnt doing good and the impeller shaft is leaking water so a new drive is in the near future.
How is that 3200kv outrunner doing for you? Im looking now for some more speed so any suggestions on a motor??

if you are upgrading to the graupner intake you will be able to flow more so go with around a 3400-3500kv range. i am happy with my setup. no heat at all and plenty of power.
i say a motor similar to this on 3s
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...idProduct=8616
or this
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=11178
this on is basically the motor im using except 3500kv instead of 3200kv. it can go all the way up to 4s but can pull 50A so better look for an ESC
that should be crazy power without over heating or over spinning a graupner intake
here is the esc i run and it will be plenty of power for either of those motors. it is also programable by a card or a little button on it. there is an extra little spot to put lights which will be the next mod on mine unless i kill this impeller and need a graupner first..
