Removing tires from the rim without a tire changer?

if it is a tire bar then yes it works best to have two. it is not the easyest thing to do the hardest part is gettin the bead to break. me and my buds us to do it all the time with are big tires. but you will scratch your rims.

Have done this several times. You need a spotter and another heavy truck. We'd always take the core out of the valve stem, then drive over the tire sideways and the weight of the truck would push the tire off the bead of the rim, rotate then repeat. Once both sides are done you can work it off with pry bars.

My dad and I used to do it by hand all the time. Use a sledge hammer to break the bead and then get to work.
Changed car tires, truck tires, motorcycle, 4 wheeler. everything that way.
