Default Ruger LCP

Anybody have one yet or have opinions on them? I'm probably picking one up tomorrow. I need to find a good place to get a holster for it, any suggestions? I love my XD9sc but its just too big and heavy to carry in warm weather with shorts and a tshirt. I figured this would be a great alternative.

I don't know that particular piece at all but in general Ruger makes some tough as nails firearms. Ugly little fugger for sure. .380 is not my choice for carry but I don't go out in public in shorts either

one of my buddies got one. its weird to hold but it was designed to be consealed not comfortable. you can put it in your front pocket and nobody would even know its there.

I haven't shot one but they seem pretty much identical to the Kel-Tec .380 (can't remember the name). I'm not a huge fan of the design or caliber to be honest. I know what you mean about the XD9SC, I was going to use one as my backup weapon in a vest holster but that little bastard is just too thick. I've been considering a Kahr PM9 as an alternative. They're pricey but very nice.

i'm not a HUGE fan of the caliber either, but its better than not carrying anything at all. I love my XD but just too big and fat to carry in the hot summer months.

Thanks for the reply man, I like that IWB holster. How does it fit the Ruger LCP? I don't see the LCP listed as one that fits it?

My opinion is that it is nicer than the Kel-tec but it's still not on top of the charts when it comes to quality. However a very nice piece for concealed carry if you dont like the larger gun's in the heat and it's only another 30$ more then the Kel-tec, well worth it. As far as holsters go bear claw makes some nice kydex IWB holsters, they are very comfortable and reasonably priced at 55$ I believe. Custom made to your order. I think the website is www.bearclawholsters.com Let us know how it shoots for ya!
