Seen too many doctors/hospitals this past week
Spent last Friday having surgery on my right shoulder and elbow (3 incisions on the shoulder to clean up some bone spurs and remove a piece of collar bone to provide clearance for my arthritis, and one incision on my elbow to clean up some scar tissue from years of tendonitis and cortozone shots...I'm only frickin 35! ), then a follow-up on Monday, then back again yesterday to have some stitches removed and follow up some more. Gonna be in a sling for at least 2 weeks before I start physical therapy. Learnin how to do things lefty in the mean time (like typing with one hand)
Then today I get a call from my stepmom that my dad's in the hospital. Turns out he had an artery 99% plugged, and had to have a balloon procedure done, and also a "stent"(sp?)...it's basically a wire mesh that keeps the artery open. Well, while they were installing the stent, a little piece of plaque or whatever worked its way loose and found its way to his heart, giving him a mini heart attack (he had a bigger heart attack 18 years ago, he's 62 now). Good news is that he's doing well and hopes to go home tomorrow, just has to take it easy for a while. He's actually a little bummed because today was the last day for points racing, and he needs to be in the top 16 to make it to the bracket finals in DE, but he's happy to still be around to at least spectate. Good thing they found it when they did as he was about 1 cheeseburger away from that big dragstrip in the sky. Gotta count your blessings

I'm glad your dad is doing fine. Don't fret on being 35 and having problems. I'm 25 and have either bone spurs or arthritis in both my heels. My sister is 29 and had some bone spurs removed last year. But glad to hear you are doing better.

Im 26 have a messed up knee from wrestling in high school, seperated my shoulder in '99 and bodybuilding made it worse had the shoulder surgery and still having problems, I also have problems in elbows from weightlifting. Doctor says Im gonna have arthritis no matter what. Torn tricep. Missing 3 ft on small intestine digestion sucks.
Dont feel bad by the time Im 35 Im gonna need large dosages of oxycodone to keep moving.
