your word against his. who are they going to believe, probably not you. since you were the wrong with the expired registration. i would just pay the ticket, better than losing and paying for court cost.

If it we're me, I would just pay the fine and get it over with, not saying you couldnt fight it and win though, it doesnt sound like he had any reason to pull you over. But i've learned that usually the court wins.

I'd agree if it were an actual traffic violation worth points and/or insurance going up. But just a fine of registration...just pay if you can afford it.

as you stated he blocked you off on a trail off road to come over to him.
then i would shove that ticket up his *** side ways in court.
Bike was never registered as a street bike and is not drivin on the road.
It is registered as an offroad only bike which is where I was although the registration did expire. Hopfully I can get this ticket written off. In the mean time Ill get the registration renewed and get my sister to ask her best friends father about the whole situation ( hes a pretty darn good lawyer). If it mattes Ive told alot of family about the whole situation and they all said to take it to court, said the cop was giving me a hard time, especially since he made me push the bike 6km to get it home

Edit: Just a funny random little story for you fellas, my dads friend got pulled over the other day for speeding and when the cop came up to his window, the cop asked if he knew why he got pulled over, buddy said "you thought I had donuts?" lol cop didnt take to kindly to that and buddy got his ticket haha

No matter what you do you will lose days from work to fight it. Enter not guilty through the mail and go and plea bargain with the DA. They may at least knock it down, the system is so filled with BS tickets they almost have no choice but to plea bargain, at least here it works this way. Sounds like another case of DFCA.

I guess things are different there. Down here a dirt bike doesnt have a registration sticker or anything you just have a title that is in your name or the banks name depending on if you own it.
