Default Sick go-kart

Hey yall my new toy for the year is a go-kart i have had the thing for a while and am just now getting around to fixing it-

Start- busted *** 5hp briggs and stratton

Mods-
Race camshaft / valve springs / valves
Bored .020 over w/ new piston / rod /rings
Modified carb to run methanol
Racing header
Blue printed cylinder head
valve job
Performance clutch
Custom K&N "CAI"
Polished intake/exhaust runners
New coil
Advance timing

Should top out around 75 mph and around 14 to 16hp- on meth of coarse...
It will become the drift machine!- top end should be a BEAST!

And my other go-kart (already built ) is a 10hp briggs and stratton w/ modified carb to run methanol- race muffler- K&N cone filter- FAST!!! probably 14hp-

Do you guys know of anyone that makes a turbo small enough for these kind of motors?- Also do you guys know of how i could put some sort of transmission on these?

ive seen it work on a car motor (leaf blower)-

i think it would kinda fun to rig up a small turbo set-up on the beast- have to change the set-up for boost... or would i if i run meth???

or what about the Nitrous express kit for the scooters? maybe a 2hp shot or something lol

what about a jetting size of .012???? you think that would be small enough?

first, dont put a leaf blower on your briggs. I had a 5hp that I cranked the rpm's up, that thing would run all day at 35mph, tires were rock hard so burnouts were cake, I think every bolt on that little engine came loose at one point as I flew down my driveway...that and I had a big ol 2" dia stainless pipe on it so it screamed and by adjusting the fuel jet at night i could shoot a pretty decent flame by richening it up...good old time.

Find my post on how to turbo your garden tractor, that barstool is great.

Also, briggs sells there racing engines, the Animal and the World Formula are pretty sick, there runnin 1.9" valves on a 5hp for the junior dragsters!

get that little sneaky pete thing from NOS, i guess you could try to find a tiny jet for it, it might last a while spraying a 5 hp shot!!

I was looking into this once about using a FI on a briggs motor. I did a little research on the topic and found that some people are using smog pumps out of older model cars and linking them to their drivechain somehow. I never got any pics but there are probly some out there on this grand internet thingy. The only problem with it is that it has too high of boost (dont quote me on this cuz its been a while but the number 60psi rings a bell) You ll have to have somekind of pressure release saftey and make that pulley freakin huge in order to get the desired boost. just a thought.
