Default silverado leaf spring width

i dont have anything here at work to measure. im looking to get some lift shackles for my truck but i'm not sure what width to get.

i was thinking about getting a 1" lift shackle, but it's so short it looks like it will beat you to death driving down the road. anyone ever used a 1" lift shackle?

I've seen them used, and no complaints. But it was a Ford F150...

I'd bet you'll be okay.

look at how short these suckers are...i dont see how it would let your rear suspension work at all?

Yeah, they do look funny, don't they? Unless your springs have alot of arch in them, they're only gonna move front to back a little over an inch over bumps.

May need to adjust your pinion angle though.

if it doesnt vibrate there will be no adjustment. the truck is on trailer duty now and this flip kit is sitting LOW with my new springs. replacing the drag radials today with a weak *** little 285/50-18...and i think i will get perfect traction on the street with them!

this was before anything got a chance to settle. since changing my springs and doing the 4x4 mod my tires are tucked inside. it looks stupid as ****.
