If you use a regular box wrench I've read it's very easy to round the nut and to replace that fitting you'll have to replace that entire fuel line

I change my filter every other oil change.. they are cheap so why not..

Maybe i'll just grind the end off of a box wrench. I have a thousand of those things.

The weird thing is this started up right after the head swap. Maybe it's just a coincidence....just like how my fuel pump died within 4 hours of me getting my 4.10s put in

This fitting is giving me hell guys. I've presoaked the fitting and sprayed a ton of it on today. I can't even budge it. Any recommendations? Cutting the line or replacing the line isn't an option at this point. I've sprayed down so much PB the nut has shrunk from 17 to 15mm

heat it up with a torch......JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!! put some *** into it and it will come loose. the first time i took my fuel filter it was tough. its been easy since then. mine wasnt anywhere near as bad as yours though.

Here's the grip I'm using on the fitting. I said screw the line wrench. I wasn't paying $19 for it. I'm getting really good grip it just wont turn. I also have another wrench on the nut attached to the filter.

also to be prepare you for the worst ive seen fittings like that when once break loose from what they are screwed into, the line will still be froze to the fitting and twist the line
