Well damnit! We'll just stock pile all the ls motors in the world for the pt.net family. I hate when they change stuff. We'll get to pay 1500 for a simple set of headers like the new dodges.

dont we already pay 1500 for a simple set of longtubes headers? I dont see any reason why headers will be more money. Head I can see cost a bit more but not a whole lot

well i won't be buying one. at least it's still a pushrod engine though, i would be sad to see chevy go to an overhead cam.

Ill second that, I do like that they have stuck with the pushrod engine just to see how far they can take it. Not at all a fan of the harder to hack ECM though; easy tuning is part of why the LS family is so great.

yeah but those never really caught on like they probably hoped they were going to. they're pretty cool from a technical standpoint but IMO a good example of how over-engineering isn't always better.

Here check this article out too. Seems to have the most detailed info so far.

Inside GM

"Over 6-million hours of computational analysis went into the design of the new "advanced combustion system."

It says in there the injectors are 125.7lb @1450psi and can ramp up to 2175psi which make them 154lb/hr injectors...should be good for 1000+rwhp all day. Not bad.
