Nothing pisses me off more than some lowlife ************ that wants to take **** that me or anyone else for that matter worked hard for. I dont care if its a 5 dollor or 500 dollar item. Its not yours, dont **** with it. Hope theres no one on here that would do shuch a thing, but if there is im talking to you too. Atomic i feel for you man. It sucks. Probably some doper looking to pawn some ****. As for cammed00. Alarms are nice and i go nowhere without my springfield 45. Or my kel tec 380 if i dont want a monster strapped to my hip. But havent got lucky enough yet to be able to catch the person that likes to take **** from my house. Last thing i had stolen was my 2006 honda 450r that had a lot of time and money into it.

It chaps my *** still to this day when I think about it. At one time I had 3 660R raptors and I was selling 1 on craigslist and when ever someone came to look at it I had it out already so they wouldn't know where I kept it or I let it be know that it's in the backyard and there's 2 dogs running around back there too. I've heard of to many people selling a 4 wheeler on craigslist and a "potential buyer" would come and look at it just to scope out where it's at to come back and steal it later

Hes right...after 9 yrs of working for local sheriffs office (i dont anymore) most thefts like yours will end up being someone you know and probably know or knew well at one time... especially due to the odd places and times they have occurred...sucks man i feel for you...im in on the azz woopin' when u find the idiot doing it...

I tend to agree. I knew the person that ended up with my quad. Didnt know it at the time but it came out eventually. I also had a roll around kennedy toolbox about half full of tools. It was more like my overflow tool box. But anyhow about 2 years before the quad that tool box came up missing. I didnt know till a few years later but the same so called friend had both if them. It sucks but usually your friends will do that before a stranger. They know where stuff is and they know your schedule. Its sickening.

I have a rigged up alarm system for my back yard but it works.
Motion detectors that operate an actuator hooked up to some train horns connected to my air compressor. I can deactivate it with a key fob as I drive up in my driveway.
Once the motion sensors are activated, the horns will blow non-stop for 5 minutes on a timer and reset 8 minutes after that. Cheap, rigged, but it's effective... And keeps stray dogs out of the yard too

motion lights, no bulbs.
Wire the inside to a radio power cord inside the house or in your bedroom.
Motion triggers the power, power comes on, radio inside plays.. low enough so you can't hear it outside of course
you walk out and catch them.
Either that or invest in a DVR PC server and a few IP cameras.
I have 2 of these for outside:
1 of these inside:
running off this software on my PC: iSpy: Free Camera Security Software (Open Source)
Amen. It isn't yours, I worked for it, go get a ******* job & buy your own ****.
Wish someone that steals from me is armed with something... cause then I'd have a right to shoot them.

Last summer someone stole my 120amp welder, my roommates pressure washer, and a used snap-on impact wrench I just bought that I havent even got to use yet from my carport and shed behind my house. The only way to see these things is to have walked up and stood 3 feet from them. A few weeks later, someone stole my bike that was chained on a bike rack in a very public area.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I had since bought a new, pretty expensive, mountain bike that I kept in the bed of my truck with my bed cover over it. Some ****** helped himself to that too in the middle of the day while my truck was in the middle of the parking lot. This meant he had to let down my tailgate, roll back the cover, take the bike out, put the cover back, and put the tailgate back up because the cover and tailgate were closed when I discovered it missing.
Two nights ago, while my girlfriend and I were inside watching tv, some jackass stole my 26gallon air compressor out of my carport that was parked directly in front of my white truck. They disconnected the air hose that was attached, left the hose and all the air tools that were right beside it, took my work light off from the top of it, and took the compressor. This whole thing happened at probably 9pm while me and my gf were 30 feet away inside with 3 cars in the driveway. I filed a police report the next morning but he basically said dont count on ever seeing it again.
I ******* hate thieves and its a terrible feeling when someone walks in and helps themselves to the stuff you worked hard for. I am so sick of having my stuff stolen I cant wait to get out of this town and get a house with a damn garage.
