I heard you like horses...
It's always hard to get rattle cans to spray nice & evenly. Esp. if they are from different manufacturing lots. I wonder if there's a way to check the cans at the store, to see if they are all from the same lot?

Glad someone did this finally. I bought 6 cans 2wks ago. wanted to do my rims an hood. Just been hesitant that might look like crap. The utube vids do make it look good. Lot # would be on the can stamped somewhere

I am def not saying it will not.. Maybe it just do not flow out for me.. who knows.. Plus we do not know how long it will actually keep that black look.. It might turn white and nasty looking after a little bit...

I thought years ago you could reduce that stuff down with thinner when it got too thick(in the can). I wonder if you could lay your coats down from the aerosol, and mist a coat of thinner over it with a paint gun when you are all done to let it flash evenly. That might eliminate the tiger stripes. Or even thin it way down and spray it from the can.

Yeah I think it pooled up a little on the big flat areas... but the areas that are smaller and not as flat accepted it a lot better. All the body lines and accent lines look really nice! Its just the big empty across the hood that ended up not coming out as good.
Perhaps if you were to just cutout the middle bit, tape off the stuff that looks good and just respray the square as evenly as possible? That way its not the whole hood, just the square in the middle that ended up squirrely?
