spiketv: powerblock
what the hell r they doing. i can't even watch it. no car & driver, muscle car sucks, extreme 4x4 sucks, trucks w/o stacey, no danica hosting. horsepower is all that is worth watching & its all reruns. sorry just had to vent a little.

Car & Driver was dumped a while back. Muscle Car filled in behind HPTV. HPTV's cool when there's a new episode. I think Muscle Car was tight when you'd see the projects come together. It just seems the producers are into showing more body work episodes instead of the meaning behind the title... MUSCLE Car. Hell, if I want to see all the body stuff, I'd watch OVERHAULIN' (another good show when there's NEW episodes). Even they know when to skip over the gruesome bordum (sp?).
As for Extreme 4x4... I think that's a cool show, but it doesn't quite fall in with the PowerBlock theme. When I think of POWER, I'm thinkin of a pavement pounding, smoke the tires, 0 - 100mph, seat-o-pants git-up-n-go theme. However... ya gotta have power in those trail rigs they build. So, I vote it to stay.
Which takes me over to Trucks. This show had a LONG history of being "da ----" ( <--- ya know what I'm saying). The best build (at least for me) was by far Copperhead. I've watched & waited over a year to see that thing finished. It's hard to top it. That gave me the drive to get my MUCH MILDER project started.
So, now... I just DVR it, and fast forward (or delete) the episodes I don't care to see, and are boring as hell.

on just about everything.
I thought extreme 4X4 was doing a banks twin turbo rig? I don't watch powerblock as religiously as I used to, but I try to catch it every now and then.
and btw, Courtney is a waaaaay better host than Danica was. Danica sounded like she was reading word for word and didn't have a lot of emotion when hosting. She was better off behind the wheel than in front of the camera, IMO.
