So since I've been little I've always wanted to go to Texas. Two years ago I passed up lifetime opportunity to do wheat harvest and start in Texas. I had pass it up for school anyhow I'm stuck at this job for life so I want to at least come visit. I ve always wanted to come down but I really don't know what to do while I there. My question: 90% of you are from Texas what's something to do and when is good time come down
I would like to be there when you all have one of your big truck drag races haha any opinions welcomed

 

I think they have a big race/meet this month in Houston. Might wanna post this in the texas section.

Haha I guess I should have specified I'm thinking on into the summer when I have some time off

 

The San Antonio area is fill with stuff to do. There is Alamo, River walk, short drive to The Gualupe River(best beer drinking tubing river ever), Schiltter baun, Texas ski ranch, The Girls of Texas State are always fun. (married one lol) Then if you go a little north you have all the bad *** lakes that austin has to offer and a really cool night life of south congress, i guess 6th st if you are into clubing. Texas ROCKS my friend.

 

Last time I was down for my aunt's wedding, we went to Galveston and had a pretty good time, that was years ago though.

 

Galveston is alright. Nothing really to brag about imo. I would rather be around the Austin area.

 

What type of activities do you want to do?
