My truck was a base model 4.8, other then a chrome rear bumper and CD, tilt wheel, dual climate control.. Never had it weighed, but it might be a rare truck in your neck of the woods, as rcsb v8 trucks are non existent in mine.. When I wanted a rcsb truck loaded with the 5.3, 373's my dealer told me that is a special order truck, isn't even made. After I joined the sight, I found down south they are all over the fuggn place.. Now they are getting more abundant around here..Just saying..

Are you talking about a stepside? Cuz they're no lighter then a fleetside.

What's the weight loss going from fleetside to stepside? You would think there would be somewhat of a difference.

Yes they are. I've had this discussion in another thread and no one believed the stepside is heaver then the fleetside.

Damn, I was browsing the vehicle classifieds on here last night and there have been a lot of nice reg cabs for sale recently! One that caught my eye was an 02 white sierra rcsb with only 68k on it. Super clean, 5.3L, 2wd, fog lights, had captains chairs and center console installed in it...only had a couple dings. Went for $6850 on ebay. I think I would have bid on that. I've already got a plan in my head.....6.0/4l80e swap, L92 heads, L92 intake and TB, Yank SS4000 stall, my 1 7/8" ARHs.....
