My girlfriend has a rcsb, no space... If you haul anything, it sucks. I get so fed up with moving things from the bed to the cab every time I go into a store. There is no place to hide stuff out of sight... I could live with a RCSB, but I would have to have a box in the back and at that point I would probably be the same weight as a extended cab.

That being said I do enjoy borrowing the truck and murdering my friends stock crew cab and my buddies new extended cab. Damn 5.3 RCSB flat out move from a roll.

Since I always have tools on me, my needs are different.

Well, the search is officially on.

I know that I could find a early 99-01ish v8 reg cab for cheap and then have a lot left over for goodies, but I think I'd rather find something in really nice condition with lower miles. Gotta find one from the south too...no rust !

Any tips for buying a used vehicle? This is my first time going used. I'm not worried about anything mechanical, I know these trucks are solid and reliable. Looking more or less for info on things to watch out for, your experiences, etc.

I really want to find a southern vehicle, rust free.

Would prefer a 01-02 GMC pretty well equipped, 100,000 miles or less, very good condition.

My brother is selling his truck, 99 rcsb 4.8, its a roll up window basic edition truck. Its got some miles on it though. like 190k i think. He wants 4500 obo. We have weighed it before, It was like 39XX lbs. It upsets people pretty well for being so light. lol

Not considering the 4x4 anymore since our pm's huh Michael ? Don't feel like dicking with the front diff, transfer case clip, 4x4 switch, or encoder motor? Hey, I've only replaced two of those four on my truck, and one of those was "preventive maintenance"

Yeah, seems like too much potential issues I don't want to deal with...
