Question Toyo Open Country MTR

Any one running them? If so how many miles have you had them for and how are they lasting? I am thinking about going to Toyo's this time around, I have heard that they will last up words of 60,000 miles. Also how do they sound on the high way?

Thanks in advance!

I've got em . . . 285/75/16s
rotated every 3K miles when the oil gets changed.
great traction in mud/dirt/sand
wet pavement is ok . . .
self cleaning in the mud

Still look new, and there's close to 12K on them

They're pretty quiet . . . but I did recently lock up one of my rears when a jackass pulled out infront of me when I was pulling the boat. So I've got a flat spot on one

Had them on my Dmax 35x12.5R20, got a little over 30K out of them but thats on a heavy diesel, towing about 15K of those miles and a heavy *** foot on a tune that was putting down 750rwtq to the ground so Id have to say for the abuse they saw they were great. I will be going back with them again when I need some MT tires. A bit pricey but work well and are quiet.

Would you have pictures of the tires before you sold the truck?

Pricey is right for a 35x12.5x17 they are $1518 for all 4 and 37x13.5x17 they are $1583 for 4. That was at one place I still have to look around for better prices.

What in particular are you looking for? This was right before I sold it

I put about 30K on the tires and IMO they had probably another 5-8K in them. They wouldnt have been too great for mudding anymore but would be fine for driving on the pavement.

They are worth every penny

I want a tire to last longer then 15k and do good in snow, mud, and sand. I have Nitto Dune Grapplers they are good dry and in the rain and awesome in the sand but suck in the mud and snow.

On your truck Id bet 40+ would be very easy, probably closer to 50K. I cant really note on snow since the only time I was really in it I was pulling a 12K trailer but mud and sand they were great. Wet traction was a little slippery but thats because of the heavy *** diesel motor up front and massive low end tq it had.

Go over to the dieselplace and search toyo mts, they have a lot of reviews on them over there.
