Has anybody traded in a truck with a 4/6 drop. I have been told that since i c-notched the frame they can't sell them on their lots so they have to send them auction. How did they treat you on the trade in? Did they offer you less because it was lowered? I would return it to stock but i don't have all the parts and the c-notch will still be there and very visable if lifted back up.

Well generally a dealership would have a very difficult time selling a truck with a c-notch, since that makes it essentially useless for anyone who wants a "truck" in the strictest sense. However most used car dealerships don't even look at the truck itself, they look at the mileage.
I say put a tonneu cover on it and if you have airbags, fully inflate them. If you don't have airbags and can return the suspension to stock, i'd do that and sell the 4/6 kit seperately.

I agree with crabman. If you can put the stock stuff back on do it. It would benefit you. They wouldn't even notice the notch if it is clean. Good luck on the sale, why you want to trade it. You could get more by selling it out rite..
