Truck got hit, looking for advice
I was in an accident about a week ago. Happened in a parking lot,got cranked from the side. Going to start working on the truck this weekend. It's a bad feeling driving by the truck everyday and seeing the damage, glad I get to finally work on it. Damage as far as I can tell is fender, bumper assembly, tow hook torn out, inner tie rod bent, and the wheel now has a real hard spot when spinning it. Alot of plastic pieces(headlights, headlight mounting panel, grill, washer res, etc) Damage does not appear to have bent the frame, but time will tell. Just looking for advice or words of wisdom when I start pulling the girl apart. Also, what should I do do the front when I put it back together? Chrome bumper, color matched bumper, ss bumper cover? Also, should I trust the wheel now? It took a really hard shot. Thanks for any help you can give.

Your frame horn is bent...it may needing pulled. But when you get a fender and all new parts your going to have to measure the points..but you can do it with the measureing tape

It happened at an intersection in the parking lot, cars parked all around so it is basically a blind pullout, driver was coming from my left, I was trying to go through the intersection, started through it and by the time I saw her I couldn't back up, she didn't appear to see me as there were no skid marks up to the impact, and was going 30-40 (In a parking lot with no lane dividers, stop signs, etc) from what the people involved have told me.

Sell it a buy a ford!!!! Sorry I have turrets.
The frame horn doesn't look great but otherwise looks like simply replacing parts. Not much to can do to the front end other then go back to stock.
UNLESS!!!!

I've seen some rcsb trucks with an ss style bumper cover that look awesome, and on some trucks it looks like a big chin to me. Not sure how it would look with my wheels and ride height. Also picked up a set of 4 rims, same style I had on the truck but in much better shape, for a steal. Started pulling the truck apart, the entire radiator support is shifted over a half inch, cocking the rubber mounts off the frame.
