Default Truck Hit

Haven't been on much in the last few months after starting the new job.

2 weeks ago tomorrow, with my truck sitting in the parking lot at my job, me inside eating lunch, a guy plowed thru my parking lot, hitting a brand new camaro, which in turn hit my truck. The guy hit between 60-70 mph, supposedly having a diabetic shock, but I think he was on something personally. We got the whole thing on security camer video, and he supposedly hit 4 or 5 other vehicles along about a 10-mile stretch of road.

The camaro is totaled, my truck is being repaired, though I wish it had been totaled. I have my doubts that it will ever be the same, and it definitely will never be worth ****.

Pics to follow.

Pics are back, that was my bad.

And yes, it does suck. Nows to hoping that I can go after the responsible parties insurance company will pony up a decent check for the diminished value. If they do, I'm probably going to try and trade her in on either a new 6.2 Sierra or a Ram 1500 Express.

I'm surprised they didn't total your truck. I've seen less damage and a vehicle was totaled.

Was wishing they would have totaled it. It the truck would have hit 2 minutes sooner, the camaro would not have been there and my truck would have taken the full force of the hit. There appeared to be suspension damage, so it had me worried about frame damage.

I have my doubts the truck will ever be the same.

Damn that sucks Curtis. Hope you come out on top after its all said and done. Make sure they cut you a check for the depreciation of your truck now that its been wrecked. Should be a 1500-2000 dollar check.
