Got asked if my truck was a Vortex. I think he meant VortecMax, but he was a Ford guy. Once I make it loud I guarantee I'll have more. I did get in an argument with my uncle a few years back. He said IROC-Zs all came with 350s after I told him how bad my LT1 wasted my buddy's 305 IROC. LOL.

 

Forgot to add that my truck is a 6.2, not a VMax.

Most recent was that I couldn't swap a cam unless I took the heads off...

 

Get the 350 one ALL the time about my LS1..and when I pop my hood they say "Thats a truck motor, I am not that dumb" due to the intake/accesories??

I had a GM mechanic tell me the same thing about a cam swap..IIRC that is how GM tells them to do it..or did tell them.....

 

i guess they havent seen the two little nifty holes that work perfect with some wooden dowels...

i had someone tell me about how they just got done with their camS swap on their 5.3 and were making well over 400 hp after. they argued with me that it was a dohc motor and his truck was faster than my 4.8 on spray. this was all after i rode with him in his truck and he heard my truck running since i had to pull it out of the shop... he had a homemade intake and some **** rattle canned under the hood was all.


i had someone standing beside my 4.8 block talking to me about how those 4.8 v6s are some nasty motors! he was looking at the block as he was telling me too...

oh yeah and lots of people told me i could never run 11s with a 4.8 on nitrous

BTW this rig was a lifted jeep on 38's with a full exo-cage and interior support cage. damn thing prolly weighed 7,000 pounds

Me: *presses the traction control button quickly* yeah i have an electrical problem.. take a peak at the engine light

him : oh you shouldnt me driving it then!
