just think if your friend did drive it and got side ways on accident and hit a tree. I know me friends are great for anything except money and they could just say "sorry "

My wife wont get behind the wheel. I went as far as to beg her to try, hoping she might enjoy my hobby....but nope.
I let a close friend take it down the track one time and he lost the Meth during his run (not his fault) so I don't think I'll ever do that again.
My painter asked if he could take it for a spin around the block, I said sure, you break-you buy it.

I'm actually lucky, most of my close friends have been graced by either rich parents or lawsuits and are banking while still being down to earth, non-stuck up people....one of them bought me my cams and paid for my port work on my old mustang.

For the topic at hand, I've let my brother and wife drive it (even though she's afraid of it).

Well everybody around here knows my truck so they know better. But a while back (when it was running) one of my Marines' asked me if he could use it... I said "Are you serious"? and left it at that. He drives some rice POS, I can only imagine how he would react to a H/C/I, 4000 stall, vacuum modulated trans, 6 litre.
