Guess I'm not really with the times. I just got my first smart phone last weekend, but I really don't know what instagram is. I've heard the name/term before though.

 

Its basically an ap that lets you edit pictures and put cool filters on them. It is very similar to twitter in that you can follow people to see what they are posting, and they can follow you to do the same.
