I test drove an 95 Acura TSX a few years ago and liked it a lot. If they would have taken what I offered for it, I would have sold my truck to get it. Thank God they diddn't. TSXs can be hard to find with a manual trasmission though.

 

They come either way auto or standard....Maybe this summer I believe Eric is going to go with the bigger Turbo for the HHR SS.

yes i am aware of the gay factor, but i really dont care, i have a hot girlfriend of 3 years, not worried about it.( but when we meet i was only driving the truck)

i do get allot of looks in the mini, generally around houston and UofH people like it, old people seem to love it, now an f250 full of construction guys will point and laugh. about 4 months ago i drove to Oklahoma city via allot of back roads, and small towns where all the looks seemed to say who the **** is this guy.

yeah i get the gay car jokes all the time at work but they usually stop after i drive them to lunch

 

Knowing what could be gotten out of the 2.0 Ecotechs that are in the HHR SS, Saturn Sky Redline, and the Pontiac Soltice GXP. I know how to maintain this car, hell I do the oil changes on the HHR SS, and it is a blast to drive. And if in time I get a wild hair I know that the HHR SS is capable of after all the OTHER special stuff is added like Eric's HHR SS that's dynoed 299.6 at the wheels.

Leroy.. it's a good idea, but I'm not a diesel mechanic and I don't want to be stuck going to the "stealership" for maintenance, when I know how to maintain the Ecotech 2.0.

 

I drive all of our Lexus hybrids and I love them, but obviously even our least expensive hybrid is expensive (currently the HS250H), but soon we will have a nice 5 door hybrid coming out, the CT200h.

The Toyota stuff uses the same technology for less dough, but they're still pricey IMO.

 

A women who's an enthusiast & does her own oil changes. Eric, you've got a keeper. If all (or at least me) could find 1 like that.

BTW.. the oil changed on the HHR SS are a PITA....I had to turn the wheel to the right to get to the damn oil plug...

 

Lisa, FWIW, I do oil changes on 1 of my older bro's Van & his wife's newer Malibu. Bu is a breeze. Undo a 1 1/4" (or is it 1 1/8") nut that holds the paper oil filter. Remove fill plug & drain plug. Hardest part is when you remove filter, u may dribble some oil or a few oil drops on engine, cause it sits on top of engine; does that sound explained right?
Remove old element, pop on new one. Quite easy maintenance overall, but that's not what annoys me.

I have to use drive on ramps, cause it sits so low to ground. The tilt wheel only goes so far up. She jams seat too close to steering wheel. Even all tha way back, I hit my head gettin in, it's too cramped for me. I'm not fat, just tall. I'll stick to my truck.

Unfortunately, weather is nasty here now, & my truck needs an oil change. Cold & snow dripping on me. Wanna do an oil change?
