Off topic but what guns do ya'll carry? I'm taking my concealed license class this month and bought my first gun. It's a Springfield XD .45 13 plus 1. I Fired 150 rounds this weekend. First shot left my ears ringing for 10 minutes then I put some earplugs

 

I carry a XD Sub Compact .40... Love it!
Not easy to conceal on a 5'10" 135lb fella but a CrossBreed SuperTuck holster does miracles...

i dont actually carry quite yet, well legally anyways only do it illegally when im in a situation that warrants it. also carry around my property sometimes. i have a XD-45 Service, 4" barrel 13+1 cap. want to get a compact version though for concealed carry, 10+1 w/ standard mag or 13+1 with long mag w/grip ext. im 6'4" 220lbs btw.

 

Im all legal
Subcompact with the 9rd mag (9+1) is alot easier to conceal than the 12+1 with the extension grip..

If your into chopping up a perfectly fine pistol. there are guys over on XDtalk.com that chop the grip to fit the short mags.. that way you have a "Compact" XD but can still use the extensions with the 13rd mags and still have the "service" XD..

 

You lucky bastards that get to carry a gun. I wish this state would allow people that could pass the BR checks, what not would be allowed to carry. I have a reason to believe that the crime would drop. It is damn near impossible to get a carry permit... Md is turn into the cali of the east coast..
