Somebody seriously told you that, or are you just stirring the pot..I could see that may be true but the turbos are going to suck in air from all directions..lol..who knows

-I was told that by an older friend of my Dad's to rev the engine up before turning it off (talking about my 69 swb/350 sbc)..I asked him why and he said that if I rev it , that it will "leave a spark in the distributor" lol..after he left my Dad said he was full of ****..

I wonder how an engine even runs with all the cylinders "fighting" for air from the intake manifold?!?

So you mean that the two turbo fan engines on the A-10 Thunderbolt fight each other for air because they are in close proximity?



The A-10 Thunderbolt II has two General Electric TF34-GE-100 turbofans each consuming 20280 cfm of air and producing 9065 lbs of thrust. Each consume more air in one minute than a 408 ci would at 6700 rpm for half an hour.
