Rough yesterday for sure. I was up most of the night watching the storm come through. I am lucky my home and business is ok. 1 or 2 tornadoes in town. We were on the southern edge of the storm.

I'm still without power. Everyone I know is ok. Electrician at work and his wife got killed leaving behind a 2 yr old. Engineers son killed in T town. Tornadoes 2-3 miles apart everywhere. Stories of looting and theft around. Sporting goods store had all the guns stolen. We drove an hour to get gas and borrow a generator. A hot shower and tv was nice last night.
Browns ferry nuclear where I work is working on transferring off of diesel power slowly for emergency systems. All 500kv lines are down and will be 2-3 weeks before we'll be able start up again. Hydro plants going strong of course.

I live in Cullman and we won't have power for 3-5 more days they say and having to conserve water because the treatment plant is running on generators. I am running off a generator at my house and I am tethering of my phone for internet. Here are a few pics I got when it came thru.

Good to hear that all our members are ok! Sorry to see the damage to your homes and properties. Mt parents had some of this weather down in Arkansas last week and they are ok. However I guess that some of the properties look like what you guys have posted as well. Its amazing to see the damage that these storms create and in the end life is the most important thing. Good to hear that everyone is ok. Vince
