Default Wife Mobile options - Acura MDX vs Cadillac SRX

this time next year i would like to get the wife a new vehicle... She won't get a Tahoe, which i wish she would, but oh well.. no TBSS either since they get **** MPG...

So here are the requirements i have to work with.

1. 4wd or AWD.
2. Smaller than a tahoe but some form of SUV
3. must be decently quick, wife wont drive a slow vehicle.
4. must get decent MPG

So i have got it down to these 2 crossover SUVs... Both are about the same price, used with < 50k are about $25k-$3

0k...

Acura MDX Awd
3.7L Gas V6, 300hp, 5sp auto AWD

or

Cadialc SRX
2.8L Turbocharged Gas V6 300hp 6sp auto AWD

Anyone have any experience with either of these?

My step mom has a 2010 srx but its 2wd and not the turbocharged one. It's an awesome vehicle, drives and rides great. Gets decent mileage and she's got about 50k on it now I believe with no problems and she loves it.

ya i saw 2 different engines for the caddy. I think the turbo charged one would do better at altitude, for when we go to colorado/wyonming twice a year.

BTW does it have heated seats?
