Acura IMO. My mom looked at getting an MDX but she doesn't drive enough to get a new car. Her 2006 Acura TL still has less than 25K on it! My Gma has a SRX. It's nice, but I'd get Acura

The SRX are nice and we have only seen one that has had a problem and all it was is that water got in past the hatch seal and fried the lift gate module. Other then that there are a few small recalls for a rerouting of the power steering line, sun roof seal, and the little triangle pices on the front fenders comeing off.

Thanks for the replies, it appears that nothing major is going wrong with these 2 vehicles... Now it just comes down to which one the wife likes...

My mom has the new srx. Its pretty awesome i drove it to austin and back and it was a sweet comfy road trip car. She has 30k on it with no problems. Except a couple of recalls which is to be expected from a redesigned model. Its the non turbo model, BUT its no slouch! the "sport" mode is fun esp. since its a 6 speed lol. its a base model and its got nav, heated leather seats, bose and tons of other bells and whistles.
