DIVORCE!!! j/k
Getting an additional monthly bill is never the answer to any problem. Keep your truck imo.

Its really funny that Toyota don't manufacture tundra's in Japan, its made in USA, so you better get a GM related vehicle and have some fun. BTW its your wife who is putting more debts on you.

Well, my wife and I sat down last night and made a list of all our bills and found out that we have about 700 a month that we to put towards anything . I decided that, once my Silverado has had the engine swap done, we are going to apply that to pay her ML350 off in the next 9 months. Then we will revisit the subject. We were also planning to have a 2nd kiddo. Thats another reason why not to have $1k in car notes a month.

In 9 months, I should know how my silverado is doing and if she is going to last another 200k miles. No reason why it shouldn't with a built 60e and a 18k 6.0 swapped in.
In my mind i know the silvy is going to last and paying off the wifes car will free up another $450 a month to be use added to savings, boat or additional pricipal on the house. Projects is last on the list....

I was gonna say...if you decide to get a Tundra, make SURE you are 100% comfortable with operating a floor mat. I know they're complicated and all...

staying away from the car/truck payments is the smartest thing anyone could do, and doubling up to pay off a car you own now is a very wise decision

Pay off your mortgage, have you actually seen the rediculous amount of interest you pay in a typical mortgage?

If it was me Id pay her car off and throw the extra every month on the house and when other goodies pop up for the truck get those aws you see fit and spend more money on doing stuff that actually has a reward in life.

The wife and I have decided every year we are going to spend our tax return on a NICE trip somewhere. you only live once, might as well enjoy it.
