Nope just a cammed 5.3..

He said he was cruising on the Hwy with curise control on about 70, All the sudden he said it started sputterin like it was about to throw a belt so he put it in neutral and it just started dumpin smoke like he was in a nascar race..

 

Damn. That sucks. That happen to me back in the day 300 miles from home. 2 rods through the pan. And that's what motivated me to build my 96.

 

yup dereks correct, sounded and felt like it was eating a belt,poped it in netural as was pullin over, double checked for oil pressure and it was fine, soon as i was in netural i turned it off as i was in the closest lane to the shoulder was gonna coast over and POOF smoke out the back like crazy, so far ive found pieces of either valve or piston in a couple cyl holes, under the valley cover, in the intake manifold and in the header, not to mention i poured a good amount of oil out of the header
