In court for a ticket I got 3 months ago, unsafe speed slower than the speed limit. Everyone think positive for me!

I'm out and I think I won. The judge questioned the city cop as to why he cited me for something that wasn't normal like improper lane change or ? and the cop acknowledged he made a mistake. The Judge said he wanted to see the road as we described it on his way home but I think he was just trying to save the cop some humiliation by delivering verdict by mail.

I will know for sure in a few days.

Bad news is I got a fuking parking ticket for $45 for backing into a spot at the courthouse! There's a sign out in FRONT OF THE BUILDING that says not to back into a spot but NOTHING where you actually park!

Damn!!

Hopefully you got out of it! Now you have to go back to court to fight the parking ticket!

That's some story Bill. Seems like you can't catch a break. Unless you were doing 30 on the interstate they should leave you alone for going too slow. Had to be cocky and back your truck in didn't you.

Tim, good one.

That's stupid. You know in professional drivers classes (for limo drivers) they always tell you to back in and never drive into a parking spot. You're statistically less likely to back into someone or something when you leave if you drive out as opposed to hitting something when you back IN.

Sig of the day material, might even get a prize for that one, Tim.

Naw, Judge said look, we can't get the guy on this one, but the meter maid is out back, I'll have her roll by & give em a parking ticket. Wow, $45 for illegal park, what a scam, typical CA.

More than likely, it was someone u smoked on the street, & it was payback time.

That's BS. I ALWAYS back into parking spots. I don't even remember the last time I drove into a spot, lol. The courthouse probably has that policy so people can't hide their expired license plate tags. That's the only reason I can think of. It's stupid, regardless....

On a different note, I'm glad you came out of court in a good mood.
