Very similar to what i had in mind except it will house a few jacks and a air compressor under so no shelf. I plan on putting cabinets above the table for towels and such. Just want it to look as nice as it performs. Hopefully ill have something to show this afternoon, as i plan on starting today!

You could check the price of a roll of laminate. That will allow you to whip clean and replace if needed.

I built one at my parents house years ago . . . 10ft office door, and 2x6s for the legs and supports . . .

. . . . it's also a great craw fish table, but it's really heavy to move

Thanks nonnie for the link! I joined but i think i want something a little different. I am going to attach it to the wall for one side and use 4x4 post for two legs and build a solid frame to attach the counter top i found like the one i posted the pic of. Its gonna be used for simple stuff not anything extremely heavy and I want to attach a vice and put my grinder/polishing wheel on it also!

I cant rem if he has any more but they were 30x60 and 1.5" thick. Similar to what my reloading stuff is already on. Just use bolts with fender washers instead of screws. The pressed wood doesnt take screws all that great.
