Murder/Suicide local to me.. happend in a city 20 miles north of me.
Police: Lovely went into local drug store unarmed

Shortly after murdering his wife, an unarmed man walked into a local drug store, asked the clerk to look at a shotgun, then loaded the weapon with shells from a store display and shot himself in the head, police said.
Donald Gene Lovely, 38, died at a local hospital.
Police believe Lovely stabbed Sherry Susan Lovely, 35, a short time earlier in her home in the 5200 block of North Washington. Lovely’s 17-year-old daughter was home at the time of the slaying, but in another room, Enid Police Department Capt. Dean Grassino said. Sherry Lovely died at the scene.

I feel like Enid has always had that 'scum' feeling to it. Sad to see that he killed another person but atleast he saved taxpayer money by offing himself. Do you think sales went up when the customers saw that the merchandise works?

How do they just have ammo lying around in an open display at a store? In CA, ammo and guns are locked up behind counter. Not that you can't break the glass or nything. You know just to keep honest people honest. "hi, I'd like to hold that Tactical 10gauge." "thanks,...BOOM!
