Very good test. I saw a Royal Purple rep perform the same test at an industrial show. It sold me on it. He added water and there was almost no effect. Mobil1 locked down immediatly with water added. The results were the same as here and the Mobil1 did virtually no better than any other conventional. He them cleaned it out, filled with water, then just put a dribble of royal purple in it and it still did better than the Mobil1 did with no water. It attracts itself to metal better and doesn't mix with water. He had 2 clear bottles there 50% water/oil mix and shook them up, immediatly after stopping shaking the royal purple was 90% seperated from the water and within 5 minutes it was almost 100% seperated. Mobil1 turned to milk and stayed that way.

Ah- great read. Good thing a buddy of mine is a sales manager for RP. He's had me on RP products (motor, trans, rear end, rad additive) since before my 1st mod to my truck. I did run 500 miles on some old dino oil to break in my motor. Aside from that, I'm with ya Turbo Gibbs RP FTMFW!!!!
