I seen that before.
Late night TV ad for a product called prolong.
used the same machine to run up next to slick 50, STP, mobile 1,
And a bunch of others.
i like the ones where they drained the oil out of motors and ran
Them till they froze up, prolong motor kept on running.
then they had a show where the oil pans were removed
To prove that the motors were running with no oil.
and again the prolong motor kept on running as all
Other froze up.
the last one had the motors in a freezer with oil drained
and covered in blocks of ice, and again the prolong motor
Kept on running as the others froze up.

what if i were to run royal purple for 3k miles--change the filter and add a quart then go another 3k miles? i should be fine then eh?

I justy started doing that but every 5k miles with RP (gotta love it when ya get 2 cases free. Ahhh the joys of the oil field. LOL

I had to add about 1-1/2 quarts to fill it though.

it sinteresting to see what the different weights do. but i have a question what oil to run( weight) on a brand new motor. it looks like im going to give the royal a try this engine.

edit , look sliek im going to give the racing 21. but **** its going to be almost 90 bucks an oil change!! the prices you pay for having a mean engine. but hey it says its built for blowers that run race fual and methanol!! woo woo .

Don't put it in your brand new engine. Run so cheap oil for the first 500 hundred miles to break it in. Then spend those 90 buck other wise it'll be 180 really quick I believe its worth it that way you can also feel the big difference.
