Default wtf.. turbine driven roots blower

alright so looking at some old school hot rod stuff where people tried out all different weird things i got a strange idea. anyone ever see a roots supercharger driven off of a turbine wheel? i took the thoughts backwards like 6-71 blowers being belt driven, centrifugal (somewhat of a turbocharger compressor) belt driven, so that makes a turbocharger a turbine powered centrifugal but ive never seen a turbine powered roots.

Im in no way thinking ive come up with some magic setup and i highly doubt it would work good but i envisioned this king of weird looking setup of a 6-71 on top of a motor with a turbine housing at each end. obv would have to be geared down a lot prob somewhere around 15-20:1 if anyone has ever seen anything remotely like this id like to see some pictures. i dont want to hear stupid comments and things like its impossible because anything is possible (not saying im going to make one)

I think the biggest problem you will have is the parasitic loss on the engine caused by the energy needed to turn the rotors...think about the size and weight of a turbo compressor wheel, even a big one like an 88mm versus a "small" blower rotor set like the tvs1900. Sounds like a worst of both worlds type of setup; tremendous lag and huge parasitic loss.

Yeah, gonna be too much lag in turn defeating purpose of positive displacement blower.

Roots Blowers are positive displacement, meaning each turn displaces a set amount of air..... im thinking it will not work correctly with a turbine wheel because the turbine is not capable of either variable geometry or spinning at a seperate speed than the blower impeler.
