I've read that LS1's at sustained RPM's burn oil, since a boat will stay at the same RPM's for extended periods of time it may burn oil.

Did yall use the stock cam?

i know for marine use the cams for an LS are weird numbers.. well for a fan boat anyway..

i didn't do it myself but got the parts for it, all i know is the owner bought a 04 Z06 engine, then i got this kit Edelbrock 7118 too make it carburetor, unknown carburetor (he said he had it laying around) and manifold im just not sure i could check it if u want but im pretty sure u gave me the info back then "harris" if im not mistaken

when we had the motor all the way down we where at 4200 rpm, lifting it a lil it went to 4500 rpm

what do you think of the video, how does it run?

thanx for telling me, yesturday was the first time we test it, but we will be checking oil for sure

engine is stock yes, i gave him the idea yesterday of putting a cam in
he might do it down the road

i sure will, i hope we will go to the water this year yet, its 4 hours away so its not so easy leave the job for a couple of days, but i will be back with better videos for sure
