1972 GMC Shortbed for Sale!!!!
ON EBAY!!!!! Item number 290111161325.
1972 GMC C10 Shorbed. This truck is in good condition, solid body, some minor dents, rust in usual place (rocker panels, couple other small spots) and could use a bit of brake work.
I chopped the top 2 inches last year , moved the rear window down instead of shortening it, raked the front pillers back 1 inch and added a roll pan as well as shaving the rain gutters. I bought this truck with the intent of customization but with work and school I dont not have the time for a project being that I will be commuting 2 hours to school each way this fall.
I have driven this truck everyday practically for almost 2 years, no problems at all, extremely reliable.
It has a 350 Cu in, small block with TH350 transmission on the column shift. I just got done doing an oil change, tune up, and replacing valve cover gaskets and have put no milage on it since. It also has a bed liner, but the original wood bed floor is still there.
It also has a Blaupunkt Bermuda CD player in the glove compartment.
Shortbed are difficult to find in this condition and typically a bit expensive if they are of decent shape like this one, it is not perfect but it is a amazing base for a project with minimal body damage and rust, a very solid chassis with no flaws and is very sanitary for a 36 year old truck. It drives well and is very comfortable with a bench seat.
