***SOLD***1995 GMC Yukon SLE - Amazing Condition!!
***SOLD****
Very reluctantly, I have decided to put my truck up for sale. My job keeps increasing the amount of miles I need to drive, and I can no longer justify the cost of driving the truck. I really really don't want to get rid of it, I was very lucky to be able to get it in the first place. Unfortunately I need to do the responsible thing and move on.
This truck is one of those vehicles that will make you wonder if you've gone back in time when you look at it. It is in astoundingly great condition for it's age. It was purchased in april of 1995 from Star Pontiac/GMC in Easton PA by my father, and taken meticulous care of until I bought it from him four years ago. This truck has needed NOTHING in the time my father and I have owned it. It has received regular 5000 mile oil changes without fail, received an extensive service at 100k miles (plugs/wires/filters/lube/engine and tranny flush, new bilstein shocks), and still runs perfect to this day. New front pads/rotors and rear shoes/hats were installed at about 120k. The only indication of age is the fact that it takes just a turn or two longer to start than it did on day 1.
Cosmetically it is even more amazing...there are no dings or dents to speak of on this vehicle, the paint looks like it is MAYBE a year old (not 13!!), and there is no rust whatsoever that I can find (on the truck, that is...the brush guard and taillight guards do however have some rust starting in spots). The interior is just as clean, though you will find a few signs of wear in the cloth. Basically you would expect a 1-2 year old truck to look like this, but to think this one is 13 is quite remarkable. I also have added 17" wheels from a 2006 silverado, with Yokohama Geolandar AT+2 265/70R17 tires, Westin full brush guard with Hella 55W driving lights, Westin tailight guards, KC 55W fogs, a Pioneer DEH-P47 CD head unit, and a Cobra CB radio.
The truck was involved in a minor accident...well it was actually involved in a major accident, but it's involvement was very minor. It happened while my dad owned the truck. A semi approaching in the opposing lane lost control, it's trailer swung out into his lane and struck a grand am in front of him...the car dislodged a tire from the trailer and sent it flying...it bounced off the ground right in front of the Yukon and struck right above the bumper on the driver's headlight. The grille assembly was replaced along with the driver's headlight and marker light. All original GM parts were used of course.
I'd say that's a pretty good explanation of the vehicle...here's the stats:
1995 Yukon SLE
132k miles
5.7L gas V8
Manual selectable 4WD with low-range
Torch Red Exterior
Med Grey Interior
Cloth buckets with 60/40 split rear
PW/PDL
Power driver's seat
Power lumbar on both seats
Compass/auto dimming mirror
The truck books at $4800-$5000 but i'm not stupid, it's no Prius, so i'll say $4000 obo.
I am located in West Allentown, PA.
