It's just not my deal to make. I don't have a horse in the race just relaying info and messages. I already gave him my opinion on the truck but like I said it's not mine so I don't care if he ever sales it haha.

Please explain any issues you had for other potential buyers. I'm all about honesty and really want everyone to know any issues with the vehicle so that we can possibly prevent further disappointments. Also, I will share this experience with the vehicle owner so that he is aware of the problems you see with it. i am not the owner but a friend of the owner and it represents me as well since I have this ad up for him.

After talking to my coworker today I must say it sounds like you never had any intention of spending $8k on the truck and kind of just winged it and hoped he'd take $6k cash when you got here. That's a good way to waste a ton of gas money and go home empty handed. From what I was told, you were given up to the second pictures via text and every "problem" was discussed over the phone before you drove down. The only somewhat large issue is a dime sized hole in the tailgate. I told Kelly(the owner) we could fix this for $250 or so if he wanted. If you are wanting a brand new truck go buy a new truck. As stated above, this truck does have 130k miles and isn't "perfect".

I know David as a friend, and he had full intention on buying that truck for 8k, but yes he was disappointed with it because it didn't look as nice as the pictures make it look. He's a good guy, he just wants a NICE truck for his hard earned money. He did mention it had a rattle in the dash, most likely from when the heater/AC core was replaced. I'm sure he'll chime in yet.
