2000 RCSB Silverado w/ls1 FS!!
Alright guys I think its about time to try and sell my truck. Wanting to get a Procharger kit and looks like i gotta sell this to get one lol. Good solid truck no rust anywhere. 166k on the odo. Motor came out of a 99 c5 vette, I was told it was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago but i have no proof. Motor runs solid but has a lifter noise that is loud at startup and quiets down after warm up. Does not sound like piston slap it sounds more like a lifter. It has ls1 f-body fans hooked up to a thermostatic switch with a relay, Cold air intake, AEM long tubes that are ceramic coated, true duals with flowmasters, 3.73 rear end with g80 and a diablo predator programmer. Truck runs great and ive never had a problem out of it, shifts fine and no gear noise. This is a LS truck so it has the nicer cloth seats and everything. the seam on the drivers seat needs to be sewn but no big deal. other than that its nice!
Now the bad, worse part about the truck is it is a rebuilt title. From what i can gather from the previous owner, a tree fell and hit the front, you wouldnt be able to tell that it is a rebuilt title by the way everything looks tho. looks like all gm parts, frame is not bent, nothing tells signs that it has been wrecked before. I left work one morning, (about 730am when i got off) and turned into a pole so the pass fender has a dent in it. I can source a fender if need be. I can paint the fender as well.
Even tho the truck is rebuilt, its still a very nice truck and would make a good truck for anyone. Im not gonna let it go for nothing, I would trade for a d1-sc ls1 f-body kit plus cash or sell for $5000obo i think that is a pretty fair price.
