96 Silverado C1500 ECSB 350 Houston, TX
Short List:
96 Chevy truck, 2wd extended cab (no third door) satellite blue metallic with grey cloth bucket seat interior 350 V8 auto. 130,000 miles, mostly highway. Great truck, needs nothing, full documentation and receipts since 1996. $5800
Long list:
Truck was bought new in 1996 by my retired neighbor. He used it regularly to drive to his ranch house until 2003. He then used it occasionally for the same purpose until 2006. I bought it from him in 2006 with 120,000 completely highway miles. I have used it over the last year, half highway half city.
I have all the receipts for the truck since new. Has good shocks, good brakes, good tires have been rotated every 5000 miles. 350 V8 runs strong with a recent tuneup. I use synthetic oil with regular changes. Transmission is solid, shifts fine. Rear end a 3.42 ratio without posi, fluid changed about 8000 miles ago.
Body has a few parking lot dents and a couple scraches. Paint is glossy in great shape. No fading or peeling anywhere. Bed looks almost new, even underneath the rubber mat. All of the lights are clear, no hazy worn out plastic. All the chrome is in good shape. Has a trailer hitch and 4 pin wiring.
Interior is light gray cloth. Front bucket seats, power driver seat. PW, PL, cruise, cd, cassette and power mirrors. AC was serviced about a year ago, works great. Carpet and seats are in great shape, no stains or tears. Dash is not cracked, but there are some small typical cracks in the plastic in the rear seat area. No squeaks, but it does rattle some over large bumps (its a 12 year old Chevy)
Truck has an alarm, kill switch, tailgate lock, and K&N filter, other than that it is stock. No loud exhaust. The truck has no issues, everything works and works well. There is a crack in the windshield on the passenger side, been there for years. Inspection and registration are good until Sept 08. I have a black camper shell that can go with the truck if you would like.
