98 S-10 lifted on 20's
I just took this truck in on trade. I have driven it 500 miles with no problems. It is a 1998 S-10 2 wheel drive extended cab. It has a perfect running 4.3 vortec in it with plenty of power and automatic trans that shifts perfect.
Motor and trans; 4.3 Liter Vortec V-6. Uses no oil, doesn't smoke, miss spit, sputter, rattle, knock. The trans is a automatic overdrive that shifts great. Neither the motor or the trans leak anything. I di have to replace the a/c compressor it has the newer style 4404 on it and the seals have blown out of it. It should be replaced by the time it sells/trades
Interior; It has cloth interior with bucket seats and console up front and 2 jump seats in the extended cab. It has power windows, power locks, tilt, cruise, Apline Cd player, kicker mids and highs. It is wired for a system already. Most of the interior is wrapped in tweed.
Suspension; It has a 7" lift with spindles and springs up front. Springs and blocks and springs in the rear. The wheels are 20" Boss Gunmetal chrome wrapped with 32" Nitto Grapplers flame tread.
Body; It has a steel Goodmark cowl induction hood. It also has a hydraulic tonneau that lifts up about 8' in the air. The body is in great shape. It does have a couple little dings but, nothing major and hard to see.
All in all. This is a nice truck. It runs, drives and looks great. I am wanting to sell it to get something that I can put a baby seat in. I would really love to find either a old chevy like 66-72 Nova, 64-72 chevelle, 59-70 Impala, Mustangs, just to name a few. I am not really looking for a bagged truck unless it is really nice. Let me know what you have...
I forgot to mention that the wheels, tires and lift have less than 500 miles on them and are less than 2 months old.
