The time has come to sell her reason for selling is to buy some property and build a house. its just time to move on to other things. I am not looking to de-mod the truck. all of my tools are in storage for the time being since we moved out of our house.
the truck is a 2000 5.3 with 150k miles. original engine. It has been well taken cared of, and has been my daily driver for the last eight years. it has cold a/c and the heater will burn you out of the truck. I installed the nitrous kit last summer, and have only sprayed 3 bottles through it on a SAFE tune. I always ran NGK BR7EF plugs on nitrous. I have always changed the oil every 5000 miles with an ac delco filter and Mobil 1 5w30 oil.
The truck is very clean for a 12 year old truck. it has the typical small rock chips and what not. i rate the condition of the body an 8 out of 10.
The bad:
someone broke into the truck a while back by tearing up the passenger side lock cylinder with a screwdriver. it operates fine, but you cant use the key to unlock the passenger side door. one of the hinges on the center console is broke, so it wobbles around a little bit when you open it. both window regulators are getting pretty slow, and will probably need replaced soon.
update:
The lockup clutch decided not to lock up anymore
i checked it with a scan tool, and the pcm is commanding lockup, but its not doing anything. i have already replaced the wiring harness and lockup solenoid in the trans. i have called chris @ circle d and he will go through the converter and do his thing. it will basically be brand new for $400.THE TRUCK STILL DRIVES FINE. EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECT, EXCEPT THE CONVERTER WILL NOT LOCK, SO IT JUST TURNS A HIGHER RPM ON THE FREEWAY
I will let the truck go for $6500 the way it sits, or i can have the converter fixed and keep the price @ $7000
