Class A Motorhome, 454 with headers, setup to tow
#1
Class A Motorhome, 454 with headers, setup to tow
1991 Tiffin Allegro 31' Basement model Class A motorhome
All aluminum construction with an aluminum roof
54k miles
Chevrolet P30 chassis, Dana 80 rear with 4.63 gears
4 wheel disc brakes
454TBI, 4l80e 4spd transmission
Thorley long tube ceramic coated headers, 3" magnaflow exhaust, tbichips.com "towmaster" chip
Onan 4000 generator, 950 hours
Roof a/c
2 furnaces
10 cubic foot fridge-not original, it is a small household fridge-new in 2007
5 gallon water heater-new in 2008
HWH Hydraulic leveling jacks-one of the 4 is brand new
2 13" TV's, both with built in DVD players
New Bilstein shocks in 2010
Bigger front swaybar and rear swaybar bushings in 2010
Will also include a rear tracbar that I have never installed
Steer safe steering assist in 2010
Airbags front and rear
8R19.5 tires in great shape
All interior redone in 2009-all new fabric on couch, bed, dinette, and curtains
Faux wood floor in 2009
ALL NEW THIS YEAR:
New complete brake system-steering pump, hydroboost, master cylinder, discs, calipers, pads, lines
New Wheel/axle bearings
New all aluminum radiator
New and much bigger engine oil cooler
New big aluminum transmission cooler
New Distributor
New Coil
New Sparkplugs
New Fuel pump-upgraded to a Vortec 454 pump to feed the power this tbi engine makes with the headers/exhaust/chip
Fuel tank cleaned inside
Fuel filter changed
Changed rear diff fluid
This motorhome is set up to tow with a brake controller and a seriously beefed up custom hitch and also the airbags. The tbichips.com chip does wonders for the engine power and for the transmission shifting. The exhaust makes this thing sound like a big block muscle car.
No leaks-had a couple of small roof leaks when I got it. But I have re-sealed the roof seams every year and have put eternabond tape on the roof seams at the front and rear caps.
This will be a great camper for someone. We have enjoyed it and used it to tow my Toyota crawler to a few events. But we're moving on to a newer travel trailer, so it's time to sell the motorhome.
