FS: 99 extreme s10 5.3/t56
Well I have been trying to sell my truck for almost 6 months now and no luck in selling. So i'm gonna see if anyone would be interested if i swap my body off my frame and put on the body from my other truck i was going to do. It is a 99 extreme is 80,000 miles on the body. It is white with tan interior. It will have grey 60/40 seats inside. I bought it with front end damage but all it needed was a front grille, extreme valance, and a hood. I have everything fixed on it and it will come with a rebuilt title from pennsylvania. Other than that the truck will have my motor, trans, wheels ect.
Here is the extreme before i cleaned it up. I'm going to ask $9,500 for it.
The truck is sitting in my shead with the front clip off ready for the motor swap but i could swap out body's in 2-3 days.
This is what my truck looks like and how the extreme will sit:
Engine bay pic:
Info:
Drivetrain:
01 silverado 5.3 w/ < 65,000 miles
02 camaro t56 purchased with 6,XXX miles on it
01 camaro ls7 clutch, ls7 pressure plate, ls1 flywheel
stock 7.5 with lakewood tracion bars, 3.73 posi
Mods to engine:
Custom reground cam from JJz28
218/228 @ 550/550 114 lsa
Yellow ls6 valve springs
Mail order tune from autocomputertech.com
Exhaust:
sanderson 1-1/2" lsx headers
flowmaster 40's
2.5" true dual w/ x pipe
Others:
Walbro 255 intake pump(enough said)
Current performance wiring harness
04 GTO electric fans
JTR corvette radiator, JTR lsx motor mounts(2.8 to lsx)
Lowerd with belttech springs and blocks in the rear. Stock spindels
Recessed radiator
I shaved and smothed the intake
Stock truck oil pan and modified crossmember and boxed up
Truck runs smooth down the road with no problems. It dyno'd 320/320 but i retuned it on 87 with hp tuners so it's right around 335-340 hp and still 320lbtq. The t56 grinds in 5th at high speed but you can avoid it if you shift low. It shifts fine from 4th to 5th. It needs a $22 part from D & D Performance called a blocker ring and it will work perfectly. I haven't done it cause it doesn't bother me. On the interstate at 75 it's at 1,400 rpm and i got 30mpg on the power tour and about 20 intown. Any other ?'s pm me or call me and leave a message 563-340-3372 my name is Todd. Also located in Davenport, IA area.

im looking for a truck like this as a project. i dont want to upset you or offend you in any way with my offer. i know you have tons of blood sweat and tears into the truck and from the pictures it looks like you did a great job. but i would consider giving $4,200 for your truck.
to explain myself so i dont sound like im out to lowball or flip a truck..i would be receiving a salvaged title truck with a grinding transmission and no ac. im sure in Iowa no ac is fine, but in texas we would die without ac in the cars lol. zero ac in a vehicle in my area drives the value of a car down BIGTIME. i did a KBB report on the truck. i entered it as a 99 dime truck at 100,000 miles with zq8 suspension, standard transmission, leather interrior with cd player, alloy wheels and no ac. i also gave it the high output v6 engine with a benifit of doubt and knowing what motor it has now. it came up to 3600 in EXCELLENT condition. i dont consider the truck in excellent condition only because of the salvaged title. otherwise it looks GREAT in the pictures.
in my area if it was just the stock truck with a salvaged title and no ac i would consider giving 2000, possibly 2500 depending on the condition. i know you have money into a v8 swap and that i figured up to around 2000 worth resale. there are also a few expensive things looked over on the drive train that i would need to dig into. im surprised that you havent blown that stock rear to the moon with that t56 and a 5.3! Anyways, thats how i came up with my offer price. hopefully you under stand my point of view.
i know i would HATE to put the math together to see what i could actually sell my truck for knowing how much i have invested into it. the performance world is a losing game when it comes to resale.
