i just got my truck back after being gone for 10 months. I don't want it anymore. it's awesome, but, i'm no longer interested, ya know?

so here's what we're looking at.

2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab short bed 4x4.
LME 408 8.5:!cr with ETP245 heads
Vic Jr intake, NW90mm tb, intake elbows.com elbow, 75lb/hr injectors, Speed eng 1000hp fuel system with upgraded aeromotive pump.

custom front mount turbo kit with 4" downpipe and 4" exhaust, ITS80 turbo, Eboost2, turbosmart wg and bov, etc.

truck made well over 600hp and 600tq on a dynojet before the dyno spun out of control. that was on 9lbs boost.

there's a bunch of cosmetic stuff i've done too like escalade door handles, gauge cluster, denali headlamps, etc.

I owe $20,000+ on it and have $20,000+ in bills for the work done to it.

What's it worth? Any interest?

i'd just go trade it in but i dont think a dealership would be stupid enough to take on such a creature. too much liability probably

 

since you asked, I think you owe to much money to be getting rid of it.

Nothing personal man, but this statement right here is enough to take a ton off. I love your truck, but there's no way you can get $35k out of it. If you said trade in is around $18000 and you have $20k into it in aftermarket stuff, but it doesn't run right. I'd say you'd be lucky to get 27-28k. You're going to be hard pressed to find somebody that wanted a "drag denali"(If you will) that still doesn't run right.

Hell who knows though. You might find the right buyer tommorow that will give you $50 grand so what do I know?

 

Considering that Parish's truck was a nationally known truck that won Dragweek 2 years in a row, and ran low 10's, and he couldn't even get his $38k asking price....I'd say the market for a truck like this, or even what this "potentionally" could be, is non-existant. Greenthunder couldn't even get any interest on his at $25k, and he had a one of a kind nitrous system on top of a twin turbo'd 408. It's a shame, but I'd be surprised if you could get someone to pay it off @ $20k. I agree with Moregrip, you're gonna either have to keep it or be content losing your ***. I love the truck, but that's my opinion. Sorry if it ain't what you were hoping to hear.

 

My opinion would be to part out the mods and trade it in with a 5.3 in her if you just can't stand it anymore. Alternately, get it running and see if you still hate it.

I can definitely sympathize with you bro -- after the hit and run I was VERY close to the same thing.
