WTB: 2001^ suburban/yukon 2500 lower miles
Don't post much, but do surf the forums daily. I am looking for a 2500 suburban or yukon. Would prefer the 8.1, but am open to the 6.0. Like to have 75k miles or under and modifications don't bother me. Please let me know what you have or have seen. I can't find one anywhere down here in Bama. Cash in hand and ready to buy the right truck. Thanks.........

Thanks man, but I got one this weekend close to what I was looking for. Just ordered the lift and rolling stock. Needed a boat puller that would haul more than 5 people (kids and their friends).

thats why i got mine, but to pull a car trailer and car...
You will like the 8.1L its a little slow with a load behind it but once rolling it pulls like a train..
Dont go too tall on the tires unless you plan on regearing. I know a boat doesnt way that much unless you have a huge one.. ive got 33" tires and 373 gears... it really hurt the off line performace with 10K lbs behind it.
what year, color etc. did you get? Id look into brake controller, your boat might have those surge brakes a lot of newer ones do, but if not that would be my first mod.. Mine eats pads and rotors about ever 30K miles.. but mine is heavy..83-8400 lbs with all the stuff on it.

Hey Boatman, where are ya in Bama? I'm in Hoover, had my 8.1 2500 Burb for about a year now, just starting to mod and customize it. I would be interested to stay in touch with somebody close with a similar truck- these aren't nearly as common as the 5.3 or 6.0 Burbs. Shoot me a PM and let's talk trucks.

I'm up in Jasper. I've had a few of them and all were modded in some form or fashion, mostly lifted, wheels, etc. I picked another one up the other day guys, so no need for anymore pm's. Thanks for the help.....
