I have a 05 ram w/ 5.7 hemi. My egr pump and/or valve has gone out. Since I'm new to the non-LS world I really don't know what kind of tuning software is available, furthermore which software gives me the most flexibility. I guess my question is which tuner will allow me to turn off my egr system while also giving me the ability to change my tune as I add more parts. If it matters my plans are cold air, full exhaust, heads, and cam in that order.

The Predator or Trinity is the best option for custom tuning on the HEMI Ram applications.

When it comes to MOPAR'S I highly recommend SCT. Believe me I know this from personal experience. Very few people have the knowledge/experience to properly tune a Hemi with major modifications.

There is nothing you can do with SCT software that cant be done with our CMR software.

My question is, since SCT does not datalog on the Dodges, how in the world can anyone properly tune anything? Sounds more like guessing than tuning....

 

I had terrible experience getting my truck to run costing a lot of time,money, and agrivation for absolutely nothing. If it wasn't for Hemifever my cam and heads would be on Ebay now. There are quite a few tuners out there for Ford and Chevy, but finding someone that is very good with Mopars is a horse of a different color!

 

Did he use a Predator to datalog it??
